Spencer Savage

–

Beaufort, South Carolina

Spencer Bruce Savage, 34, of Beaufort, South Carolina, passed away on October 11, 2026.

Born on November 2, 1991, Spencer lived a life centered on family, friendship, hard work, and a love for the outdoors. Although his life was far too short, the memories he created and the love he shared will endure forever.

Spencer earned his bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Mississippi, where he also completed minors in Chemistry and Business Administration. He earned his MBA from Millsaps College. He built a successful career in finance and business leadership, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer of Savage Sanitation in Beaufort, South Carolina.

Outside of work, Spencer was happiest outdoors. He developed his love of hunting while spending time with his late father, Bruce, and carried that passion throughout his life. In recent years, some of his most treasured memories were made fishing along the East Coast with his uncle, Scott Savage, cousins Owen Savage and Broc Savage.

Above all his accomplishments, Spencer was most proud of his family. He was a devoted husband to Leah Lawrence "Lea Lea" Savage and a loving father to Mary Spencer Savage and George Savage. His family was the center of his world and his greatest source of pride and joy.

Spencer was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Savage.

He is survived by his wife, Lea Lea; his children, Mary Spencer and George; his mother, Gail Savage (Eddie Tanner); his sister, Olivia Freeman (Dustin), and niece, Chloe; his stepbrother, Lee Tanner (Anna Berry); his stepsister, Olivia Lang (Jacob), and niece, Addi; his grandparents, Charles and Sandra Lange; and his aunts, uncles, and many nieces and nephews.

Spencer will be remembered for his quick wit, intelligence, loyalty, strong work ethic, and, most importantly, the deep love he shared with his family and friends. His life made a lasting difference in the lives of those who knew and loved him, and his memory will forever remain in their hearts.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Spencer Savage Memorial Fund, established in loving memory of Spencer and dedicated to the future Mary Spencer and George. The memorial contributions may be made to https://gofund.me/7514114d4
