Clarence Shoemaker

The family of Clarence Norman Shoemaker announced the passing of their father on August 19th, 2026 while in the care of Friends of Caroline Hospice.

Norman was born February 15, 1939 in Charleston , South Carolina. He is preceded in death by his wife, Grace Mills Shoemaker, his companion Hazel Stanley, two brothers, a sister and his parents.

He is survived by his four sons, Carl Bradham, Mark Bradham, Ray Bradham and Clay Shoemaker; a daughter, Norma Morgan; their spouses; along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

All services for Norman will be held on Tuesday August 25, 2026, at St Peter's Catholic Church on Lady's Island. A viewing and visitation will begin at 10 am, with a Funeral Mass starting at 11 am. Burial will be immediately following Mass at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Anderson's Funeral Home.
